She is given an opportunity to have her baby go inside of Sanctum if she can rescue the Primes who were taken by the Children of Gabriel. While most of the crew that came to the ground are safe in Sanctum, Diyoza has been banished to outside of the protective shield because of her past as a terrorist on Earth over 200 years ago. So, this episode finds Clarke trying to learn the ways of Sanctum, no doubt with the goal of learning why nightbloods are important on this new planet. She is not about to reveal Madi’s nightblood status until she can find out what is really going on in Sanctum. Still, the importance placed on nightblood sends Clarke into protect-Madi mode. This saves Clarke’s life and allows for most of Wonkru to stay inside of Sanctum. And in Sanctum, nightblood equals royalty. Yet, no information has been given about it other than it is connected to the Primes. It was brought up too many times last week to not be something significant. There is something going on with this naming ceremony inside of Sanctum. Why are nightbloods or Primes so important to the people in and outside of Sanctum? That is one of the big questions that The 100 set up last week as more about this new planet and its people start being revealed. The sixth season of The 100 continues on Tuesday night with episode 4, “The Face Behind the Glass.” Here are the details on how to watch the episode online.
